One very busy day

WOW!! I am so extremely tired. Today has lasted a millennium! Well to begin I got up at like 7:00AM and we went to help out with the child care. We did not know the bride or the groom, but my friend knew them and they needed help with it. At about 11:00 we went home and cleaned up like crazy. It sure is a shocker how messy your house can get in 2 days! HA! After that we went to Athena's Greek Restaurant and got Chicken souvlaki which was amazing!!

At 3:30PM my sister, Abby and I, went to babysit for some friends. Our Womens Bible Study had an auction not long ago, and our friends signed up to host ______________ a dinner party for 12 people. We took care of their two kids, Annie Catherine & Marie. They are so precious! Annie has bleach blonde hair and blue eyes, while Marie has dark brown curly short hair, dark skin, and brown eyes. (They are both adopted, I think that is AMAZING!) They are so cute together and are both almost 3 years old. We babysat them while their parents hosted the party, and after we put them to bed we helped in the kitchen, and washing dishes. The dinner was MARVELOUS!! It must have taken forver! Everything was homemade and nothing came out of a box!

-Potato Salad with scallions

- tossed romaine salad with roasted brown sugar pecans, mandarin oranges, and a red wine/olive oil vinegarette

-Pumpkin soup

-pulled pork

-marinated grilled chicken legs

-water chesnuts rapped in bacon and grilled

-Raspberry bars with fresh raspberries, and REAL whipped cream

-smores bars

-Coffee

-Wine

yummmy!! I was so glad that we got to be a part of helping them out. Their backyard looked gorgeous!

It looked even more wonderful when it was late and all the Christmas lights were on.

But I am very tired now!
