Fall Festivals

My dad is not so keen on the idea of 'Halloween' so we do not do it, but this year, (tomorrow) we are going to help out at a fall festival. We will be painting faces! I am very excited! I did it at the 5k, last Saturday. We had the option to dress up and my sisters and I decided we would. Lauren will be and Egyptian princess, Abby- Minnie Mouse, and myself- a Tiger. I am really excited! It is for an elementary school and there are supposed to be raffle contests, food, costumes and more! Lauren and my mom got me tiger ears, a tiger print bow, and a tail at Wally world. (It came in a set) I am going to have my face painted with whiskers, and a black nose.

Some time this month (I can not believe Oct. is almost over! AHHH! Christmas seems right around the corner!) my family, and a some good friends of ours will be having a fall party. We have done it for as long as I can remember. We make a pina'ta eat home cooked foods, have candy hunts ;0 and just hang out. Our traditional game is 'Dictionary.' (OR Balderdash- same thing)

Right now for school I am trying to finish reading 'The Red Badge of Courage.' It is the most boring book. (Actually Billy Budd was worse) Anyways, pray that I get through it....And understand it, I have to write a paper on it, and if I do not understand the book, I can assure you that the paper will not be that great either! ;)
