Today after church me and my sisters went to this amazing art exhibit! it was so much fun.. The artist was John Sloans. he lived in New York and painted beauitful sky scrapers and people. He did georgeous oil paintings (<----) and some pen and ink etchings. I could'nt find a picture of my favorite one but it was called something like "lady playing a piano."
O heres a funny story- at like 4:00 we were driving in the car and we got really hungry so we stopped at taco bell. we ordered at the drive thru window and then parked. About 10 minutes later we wanted to get something else, but we were like "should we go through again??" so we decided to, and it was awkard/funny at the same time, because the guy looked at us sort of funny, but then said- "you come back as many times as you like!!" ;) we were like "ok thanks!"
i guess it was my day to be REALLY ditzy because we went to borders and i asked the guy who worked there to see how much money i had on a gift card. He said "sorry m'am i can't check it here, you would have to go up front, but i dont think they would accept it there either, because this is a barnes and nobles gift card." *smiled embarrassed-ly* then was like "oops!" (and walked off really quick!) I guess today just wasn't my day!;)
